About us:
ACT network is a charity resourcing inner-city churches to reach out to the most vulnerable in society. By developing innovative, proven and replicable initiatives and supporting growing partner charities, ACT network aims to bring about lasting social and spiritual transformation in the deprived areas of cities.
Churches in the heart of inner-city communities are often best placed to tackle the complex issues that cause social deprivation, yet often lack the capacity to overcome these challenges. ACT network resources these churches with volunteers, funds and knowledge while connecting them with initiatives that deliver lasting social change for good.

“ACT network’s support has had a catalytic effect on the growth and establishment of foodbanks in London. Foodbanks have been established across London at a critical time as a direct consequence of ACT network’s support.” [Chris Mould, Director of Trussell Trust]

“Mission Year is the gateway drug to revolution...May we all continue to become the Church we dream of so that we can build the kind of world that we are proud of. It begins by diving full on into the pain, perhaps for a year, and asking how our deepest passions connect with the world’s deepest pains.” [Shane Claiborne - author, activist, and recovering sinner… ]
